Dr Ursula Hackett

I am Reader in Politics at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I research and teach American Political Development, federalism, public policymaking, education politics, and religion and politics. Previously I taught politics at Oxford.

After a decade writing and marking many hundreds of essays, I have distilled my teaching expertise to help ambitious students generate critical analysis, original thinking, and beautiful writing. The resources on this website won the Political Studies Association's Sir Bernard Crick Award for Outstanding Teaching.
